Boothbay Railway Village Educational Offerings

The staff and directors of the Boothbay Railway Village have designed a short (approximately 45 minutes) presentation for students of an equivalent grade level from third to fifth grade.

The presentation consists of interactive exhibits, colorful handouts, live steam demonstrations and lively discussions with many opportunities for student involvement.

The presentation is intended to leave the students with new knowledge and a fresh experience of steam, steam trains and a proper understanding of this aspect of mechanical forces.

The presentation can be at the school or on site at the Boothbay Railway Village.
