1910 Stanley Steamer Model R , powered by a two cylinder 20hp steam engine. Oringinally this car sold for $850. Built in Newton Massachustetts, the car was invented by twin brothers, F E and F O Stanley of Kingfield, Maine.

There were 670 Model R's produced for 1910. Stanleys were in production from 1896-1924. On occasion during special events the museum will steam-up this car for demonstration purposes.
