Our Lathe has a 44 inch swing and an 11 foot bed. This wheelset, from one of our two foot gauge trucks, is in for a new profile cut.

 

 

Inset photo shows the pour that produced the Number 6 Brass Plaque on the smokebox door of one of our locomotives.

 

The first step in a very extensive restoration is the removal of the boiler barrel and thorough inspection of the remaining fire box.

 

 

Our Number 13 under went an extensive rehabilitation in 2002. New are the tires, piston rings, main bearings along with a cylinder boring and turned journals. These items along with numerous others have given us a fine operating locomotive.
