The Boothbay Railway Village is an educational, historical and cultural museum whose mission is to collect, preserve and demonstrate railroading, antique automobiles, small town rural life with an emphasis on Maine between 1850 and 1950. Its continuing mission will be to develop and promote educational programs and services.
The Museum is governed by a 21 member Board of Directors. A year round staff of seven assisted by volunteers maintain the collection, buildings and grounds and administer the various programs, events and planning.
