1940 Cadillac Model 75 Convertible
The 1940 Cadillac Limousine convertible is one of a mere 54 produced that year. The car was purchased by Mrs. Alta Rockefeller Prentice, daughter of John D. Rockefeller, Sr. This model's purchase price was $3945. The Prentice family used the car until 1963 when it became part of the Winthrop Collection in Arkansas. In 1973 the Cadilac was sold to a gentlemen at Ocean Reef, Key Largo, Florida.
The Cadillac is completely original from the upholstery and special color to the engine and 34,000 miles! The top is new, however, and the front and rear bumpers have been re-chromed. It has an L Head V-8 cylinder engine with 140HP.
